Hi,
Just wanting to introduce myself.
As heading suggests l am located in Brisbane Australia.
I have just purchased a 1988 FJ 1200 two weeks ago which needs work done.
Since joining this forum l have been able to get information and hints in fixing the bikes problems.
A big thank you to all the members who have posted replies to known problems with the FJ.
Cheers Chasg

Welcome to FJ heaven. Mate.
Welcome aboard. Just a piece of advice, prepare you're self for entering a state of mind only consisted of modding opportunities for your FJ:-)
You won't regret it.

Welcome mate!
Hi Baldy,
I live on the southside at Waterford West which is near Logan.
Got my first bike in 1973 a CB350 Honda. Last bike was a Honda Blackbird.
Have had a number of Japanese bikes over the years including 650 Yamaha twin and 750 Triple etc.
My first big bike was a Honda CB750 K2.
I am in the process of doing the R1 front brake and Barnett clutch modifications mentioned on the forum.
Hi just signing in again to give you un update to how things are progressing with the FJ.
Finally finished doing the mods l wanted to do on the FJ today.
R1 brake calipers.
Bartnett clutch conversion
HID Hi/Low headlight.
Handlebar conversion with grip puppies
Gps.
Modified ventura rack with top top box
Modified double bubble screen which l had spare from when l sold my Blackbird.
Havent ridden the FJ much as l have been looking after my wife after her operation and doing these mods.
She is better now so l hope to get out on the bike over the next few weeks.
Hey mate, welcome aboard. Plenty of Aussies here with a dozen or so in and around the Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast area. You don't seem to have wasted any time in modifying your bike. :good2:

Nice! I'm just around the corner and down the road at Munruben, have to catch up sometime. I'm currently starting on the RPM oil cooler mod and then getting the headers ceramic coated before the Bellingen trip. Still have to get a new helmet as well, AAAhhhhhh! so much to do, so little time, lol.

Hey chasq would be good if you could join us for the Belligen run, we will be heading off from around your area to do the run down thru Rathdowny, Kyogle, Casino, Grafton etc.
Ray you better hurry up and get your s### together, as you should do a run before hand just to make sure you don't have any problems!!!
Hi Charles, Did you make this? Where can I get one?
Andrew
