Just placed these on to see the rough fit.  Impressed with quality.

I have that same set, minus the top bag.  I have used them on three different bikes; the FJ, a CBR1000 and my current GSX-R750 all of which worked well.  They are easy to install, and are very stable even at 100+mph speeds (so I'm told ) I can confirm that the covers will keep bags and their content dry, in even the heaviest down-pours.

Further, the company is a stand up company.  One of my zippers pulled away a bit.  I called them and they happily sent me a brand new set, to replace my 5 year old, heavily worn set.  I was very pleased with how I was treated, it was more than I expected.

Good Luck with yours,

Dan

I have the same tail bag, it connects by quick connect straps to the bags so on the bike they are one unit. I have been debating on getting the side bags. I am interested in hearing your report when you actually use them. The quality seems really nice, all my NR brand products have been top notch stuff.

those look a lot like the old tourmaster Cortech bags dont they?

I have to tourmaster cortech tail bag on my DRZ... also has the quick connect attachment system... the ssaddle bags also connect to the top bag

After a summer of riding, and some road trips, I'm impressed with the product.  Strong and secure at higher speeds.  Looks and functionality were good.  Pretty flexible with the different type of straps available for attaching.   Recommend purchase all available types of mounting straps (more versatility).  There was some very minor "drooping" in the saddle bags. This was without any kind of inside support, and was only noticeable after longer trips with good weight in each.  Excellent storage capacity.  The webbing in front of each saddlebag held thermos/coffee cups easily.

Thanks, yes it was...........   It's being rebuild. Almost good as new. I was lucky with the help of the forum to locate a like new 1990 for all the plastic and most of the parts. "jamesearthdrum" was able to supply some of the other stuff, thanks again James. It will be ready for spring time for sure.
Pat would be proud of me , I got my not so fancy polisher out to buff out the aluminium bits while things are apart.

The Nelson Riggs bags work great. The GIVI rear rack keeps the bags pushed out nicely. The tank bag is a Cortech and it is a bit small for touring but just right for around town and general use. The yellow bag is a "dry bag" and is nice to stuff in a sleeping bag, tent and things you want to stay dry. For motorcycle camping I found that some of those cheap "water shoes / wadeing shoes are nice to take along. Wal Mart and sporting goods store have them. Cheap, light and stuff well.  http://www.walmart.com/ip/OP-Mens-Dominica-Water-Shoe/22334093 (http://www.walmart.com/ip/OP-Mens-Dominica-Water-Shoe/22334093) . Good for around the camp site and can use them for shower shoes.

Nice setup you have there!!

I have that same Cortech tank bag...I thought it was perfect for touring and put all the "important" stuff in it:  My laptop, spare keys, passport, camera, insurance and registration paperwork.  If I was more than eye-sight away from the bike, I'd just grab it and take it with me.

motorcyclegear.com has some similar looking soft bags for $79.99

They have a great deal on some N-R tail bags right now, though:
