has any one changed the mono shock for two shocks i was thinking the elctra glide air spirng/shock to make easy adjusting for weight, i know i would have to make mounts to hold them???? any thoughts
Thats an interesting thought. I was thinking along similarlines myself, but instead of shocks, twin lock up struts (with a long swingarm)for a drag/street bike. What had me concerned was the load being taken on thru a bolt on seat subframe assembly? I didnt do it in the end,but would like to see if anybody else has done the shocks idea?
i have seen pic on google images of the fj with twin strut/shocks but not air adjustable ill see if i can find a good pic of it and post it

Isn't dual-shock a synonym for old? What possible advantage is there to dual shock?
(I realize that the XJR is dual shock, but I am equally baffled by that choice...)
I really liked the look of that one.
