Title: How's it goin eh! New from Calgary
Post by: Re-Gear on August 28, 2009, 12:05:55 PM
Just purchased a 1993 ABS, with 50k clics and in great shape, a couple of weeks ago.  I have been wanting one of these for a while but food, shelter, clothing kept getting in the way.  The bike is completely stock so I'll be looking into some upgrades in the near future.  I need a couple of projects to keep me occupied during the winter.  Just finished a 1000 clic ride to Saskatchewan.  It's a long, flat, straight road but I was able to open it up let it purrrr.  The bike is solid on the road (even with a gigantic crosswind) and will pass anything with ease.  I will hopefully find time to do the ride-for-fright (Creston, BC to the Balfour Ferry) before the snow flies.  In the mean time I'll just enjoy a few trips to the Rockies.  Oh for a longer riding season.  sigh!
