greetings from Edmonton Alberta Canada ! My name is Tim and I ride an '86 fj1200.Have ridden everything from dirt to Harleys .imho the fj has been the most enjoyable of them all .Ergonomics  performance economy and decent room for two. 'Nuff said for now , looking forward to great contacts thru this forum Cheers!

Become friends with the search feature and don't be afraid to ask for help :blush: A great set of knowledgeable FJ owners roam these boards and are always willing to help one another out :good2:

Welcome to the group, You have instantly made a friend in FJmonkey, another ambulance owner has joined. Being in Canada, your bike all tucked in for the winter should give you plenty of time to catch Moditus.

"Hullooooo Canada".  Hmmmm.  Another 86.  Don't tell me the colour...let me guess.....

Does it have any white in it?

And some red?

Did Yamaha produce any other colour of FJ back in 86?  Going by the amount of hambulances in the jam-butty colour scheme, I don't think they did.  Maybe they had a surplus of red paint left over from painting the doors at the factory and decided to use it all up another way?  :unknown:
