Title: Where does the boost sensor vacuum line go?
Post by: DarthLoser on November 16, 2012, 11:35:25 AM
I just bought an '89 FJ1200 and I live in California, so I have lots of extra stuff for emission requirements.  So I'm doing a tune-up and I find a vacuum hose that's broken near the carburetor.  I follow this hose up to the front of the bike near the headlight and it's connected to a boost sensor.  Where did the other end go?  I can't find a vacuum diagram that include a boost sensor, can I get some help???

Thanks!

Not sure about the Cali model, but check out the intake boots.  Each of the four boots have a port, one vacuum line should go to your petcock, one to the boost and the other two should have caps on them.  And a bit of advice, take some time to introduce yourself in the intro section...

The vacuum line attached to the intake manifold port on the #2 carb.

'89 has a fuel pump, no vac to the petcock... So , only one vac line.
