Title: standard twin system
Post by: fj11.5 on November 02, 2012, 03:12:19 PM
morning all, I've gotten hold of a fairly good condition standard twin system, will fit it to felicity jayne the ambulance ,, what if anything is needed to install adtermarket mufflers/slipons as I'm guessing the two on the system are most of the weight , , are standard pipes overly restricted , pretty sure they will be quiet ,, no amount of rust coming out  :yahoo:

Mate I got a loud 4 inta 2, a stock 4 inta 2, and a 4 inta 1.  All on 93 models. I lifted the front wheel accidently one day (1st gear) on the stock when departing a T  country intersection. (just the right speed when I was forced to give it a fistful). I enjoy the innocense of a quiet Stealth beast. (I believe 4 inta 2 has more torque). Tha little bit of restriction will hardly ever be noticed on your island. IMHO

your not wrong about it being stealthy, quiet is  understated,, got it cleaned up , and fitted , fired the beast up , not expecting her to be a lot quieter than the 4/1 she had , , extra torque can't be a bad thing , , now have two that could make you deaf, and one you would need a hearing aid to hear   ,,
