be very, very, careful when tightening them.

I SWEAR i ised less torque then when i was seating the air mixture screws. Freaking crazy. :dash2: :dash2: :dash2:
bloody hell, never hear of jets breaking , but I guess it only brass,
Mikuni or a knock off.
Just don't under-tighten them, either. I was having issues with my BRP (XR600R) way back when, went into the carbs and eliminated them. Took her for a ride and things got worse.... Took it in after-hours at the LBS (good buddies, we'd hang out and drink beer and work on our bikes), pulled the bowls and found the main jets in the bottom of the bowls..... Buddies got a good laugh, we put them back together. That wasn't the problem, though.
Turned out to be an ignition pick-up going bad when hot... Buddies still give me shit about it, though... :dash2:
?..would a small round main work in our carbs?

Yes, as long as it is a Mikuni size jet. You can also use one of your old main jets if you want to get it running.

Good to know. I need to get it at least synched before The weekend. But then, i dont need mains for that do i.

You are going to need a main jet in there to hold the e-tube in place. You can use one of your old main jets to get it running, sync'ed and depending on the size difference you might be able to do the initial blip test.
What did you do about the bowl that was broken?

Fleabay for the floatbowl, but its choke circuit is plugged, havent been able to get it open yet. Ill just put the dj jets back in for now.

Okay, it was the #3 bowl from the left?

As you sit on the bike, yes.
This post made me nervous since I was planning on doing mine... but all went well.
