Title: Stock jetting and needle position?
Post by: Tor-King on October 23, 2012, 08:35:17 PM
Hi guys!

I am in the process of reverting my carbs back to stock.  I am dumping the 4-1 and going back to the original exhaust.  I know this seems ass backwards as many are upgrading their systems but...I am a sucker for the 4-2 and I do like the way they look on the FJ.  I did some digging and found a posting from andyb about proper jetting but did not find anything about needle position.  The needles in the carbs are probably dynajet with different circlip positions.  Where should they be placed which would be considered close to stock.  I just need a starting point.  Also, what jetting would you all start at?  Should I go with 112.5 main and 37.5 pilot?

Thanks a bunch!  You are all a wealth of information! :good:

Cheers,
Dean

depending what Fj you have , stock needle settings would be 2/3rd clip slot from the top , and your jets should be good to go
