I meant to post this a while back when the merits of rider training were being discussed but "lost" it in the computer.
I'll bet this guy wished he knew how to tighten up a corner.
By his own admission he stuffed up, being caught out on a double apex corner and crossed to the other side of the road and hit a timber jinker head on.
Amazingly, he suffered no life threatening or internal injuries, just many broken bones, presumeably he did not go under the truck.
This happened on Bucketts Way heading for Krambach a couple of years ago.

Those are amazing pictures. There is literally NOTHING recognizable left of that bike. He, and the on-coming truck must have had a combined speed that was very high.
Even more amazing that no one died.
Dan
Looks like he had all his gear on.
:shok: He had to have been thrown clear of the truck. The way the bike was ground to bits I can't imagine what would have happened to him! Looks like his helmet doesn't have a scratch on it!!

No shoes :unknown:
Glad he is not hurt for him and the truck driver. He must have bailed off before impact into the dirt/grass or weeds. Not much damage to his gear. At least he didn't freeze up and knew when to eject. Do those double lines in the road mean the same as here in the states ? :).
lucky guy, helmet has had the visor torn off, and lost paint ,, was a nice looking kawasaki , , not a good way to part out a bike

Look again, the visor is still on, paint looks mostly intact. The wind screen is another issue.....
my mistake , so it is , get used to seeing tinted ones that's what I looked for :scratch_one-s_head:
