I received an email asking me to sign a petition opposing mandatory Hi-Vis clothing for motorcyclists.
This is the first I've heard about this and don't know if this proposal is even being considered, but I signed anyhow.

Above is the website with information about HI-VIS clothing, Take a look then sign the petition to have this nonsense stopped PLEASE!
Bloody hell, that would be disgusting having to wear that s..t. !!!!
Let's hope that never comes in .
I filled out and sent the form, but wouldn't accept my tas post code, not even after adding an extra 0 ,, tried a few combos eventually made one up and it sent ??
Hope it never takes hold. Good luck!
By the looks of the embedded vid in the article, wearing hi-vis certainly doesn't stop you from being a complete idiot and directing traffic while parked broadside on a busy hi-way. WTF. What could possibly be behind a large truck that is forced to change lanes at the last minute??

They only need to make Common Sense mandatory! I have to admit to voluntary wearing a Hi Vis sleeveless vest when accompanying learner riders or in city traffic and occasionally on country roads. As a driver with over 50's eyes, I find riders with sensible hi vis usefull in keeping track of bikes on the brain driven radar
