Here is a before and current photo of my work in progress. Almost everything that has been done has come from EBay or Randy. GSXR rear wheel mod will be coming soon, along with sending the carbs to Randy for a good going over, once the cold weather sets in.
This photo is the morning after I purchased the bike...

This is a current photo, I do have a set of Hepco & Becker panniers on the way.

Nice.
I bet the seat in itself was worth the effort!

How do the Kerker's compare to stock for the sound and loudness? And you seem to be missing the RPM fork brace. Looks good, similar to my upgrade earlier this year. Did you change the brake master or stay stock? I stayed with the same size master but the Blue dots, HH pads, braided lines and the wave rotors feel way better in braking now.
:scratch_one-s_head: i thought they were supertrap pipes, , but ive bee (popcorn)n wrong before

At some point in it's life it had been wrecked. The title I have is a "Salvage" Title. No idea why it had first gen wheels. Must have been mostly cosmetic damage, no identifiable damage to the frame or engine cases. It rides well with no odd tracking.
It came with an aluminum Supertrapp can that was pop riveted and actually fell off of the up pipe when I removed the mount bolt :scratch_one-s_head: Found a stainless rear unit on EBay.

I think there is 13 or 14 disc's installed. My ex-fiance did not complain that it was too loud.

Sadly I am riding solo at the moment. Just went and counted the disks. There are 18 installed. It idles well, accelerates strong and holds at cruising speed with no hiccups, stumbles or bobbles. I am using a stock airbox with a single UNI filter.

So I gotta ask, is it loud???
20 years ago I had a FJ1100 with a Kerker X pipe, 4 into 1 into 2. The Supertrapp 4 into 1 with 18 disc's is no louder than the Kerker was. I would say it is less loud than a D & D 4 into 1. Maybe the same as a standard Vance & Hines, louder than a Vance & Hines SSR.
Fred
PS.... I used to pull the cores out of the Kerker cans and ride it.... Now that was loud.... :wacko2:
I run my Supertrapp with no discs at all! :good2:
Gotta let her exhale ya know
Kookaloo!

Now that is what I am talking about!!!.....What did you just say??? Never mind. My Super Traps are slip on so 4 into 1 into 2 must have some new math type of conversion for DB rating that my brain is not ready to wrap around at this time of night.... Mine have about 7 or 8 discs per side so 16 ish might be as loud as your 18..... Thanks for finally getting around to the answer......

I think my kerker setup has had the cores out.
