Title: Long Weekend
Post by: ribbert on October 02, 2012, 07:43:41 PM
It was a long weekend where I live, Friday and Monday being declared FJ days.

I did 2500 k's of this.

A quick flick through the forum activity in my absence shows the new kid on the block has bagged Marsh's forum layout, slagged off at the Brits, Aussies and Kiwis and other members, received truck loads of information which he seems reluctant to accept, mentioned "The War", declared his view that America is the centre of the universe and has a superior command of "as we say in America" the ENGLISH language and offering repair advice, having never thrown his leg over an FJ, all within a month of joining.

Like a movie so bad you have to watch it, I was tempted to read all his posts, but couldn't.  There was probably more.

In fairness, I think some of that was actually me...

All in good fun though.

Damn! That scenery looks exactly like most of the coastal roads here - wait a second, I'm in NZ there's no such thing as an inland road. Add that to the fact that you'd struggle to find 2500km of ridable roads in the entire country..

Nice one Noel, like your work..  What an awesome effort, and a succinct summary of the weeks events.  :good2:

Happy riding!

James

You are doing it right, ride and enjoy. Pay little attention to the BS on the FJ sight. The BS is documented and can never be deleted. So you will not miss any unimportant detail.... Ride and enjoy and post so we can enjoy what we are really missing while we  bang on the keys an spout the joys of getting out doors. Napa cannot come any sooner....

Just for a second, I thought you had the drum on there.  Nice view!
