Title: welding tip cleaners
Post by: fj11.5 on August 07, 2012, 07:29:45 AM
went to an auto parts store ( supercheap ) and bought a set of tip cleaners used for welders, they go in size small enough to clean everything in carbs except for pilot jet main hole, , these are made of stainless and only cost $2.50 the set , tried them out tonight , worked great to loosen up the gunk in one stubbon non adjustable air jet that runs to the emulsion tube from the filter side, compressed air wouldnt clear it  :scratch_one-s_head: , anyway these are really worth the small price  :good2:

Until you gouge the soft brass of a jet and screw up the metering, ayup.
