Title: Finally got to ride it!
Post by: 1tinindian on August 01, 2012, 04:27:28 PM
After getting the new rear tire, fork seals, springs and valves, sprockets and chain on after the Colorado rally, it's finally back on the road again and being used as my commuter, just as it should be.
I also had the lower scoop graphics made at a local sign shop and buried then in clear.
I'm  also trying out my back rest to the Corbin seat, something I've had since I bought the bike, just never installed it until now.
Also ordered the GIVI tank lock style tank bag, that should come in handy.

The ride home is the best part of my day!!! :good2:

Yeah, I changed the gearing from 17F-40R to 18F-39R
The cruise RPM is alot smoother and feels like I installed an overdrive.
I'm going to like these gears alot!.
Thanks Alan!

Also added a Euro-spec switchgear with the flash to pass feature.
Nice little attention-getter!

Very cool Leon, your hard work is most evident. Where did you find the euro spec switch? Pat

Thanks Pat!

Ebay of Great Britain.
Fast shipping, and it even came off of a 1991 FJ1200!
Plug and play for the most part, just needed to add some wire for the horn due to mine being relocated under the tank.
