Hi all
Could anyone one help me in this matter, I removed the fairing but now when I go to start the bike I get the oil warning light light up and no engine start up. ???? Any idears peeps
most likely a dodgy wire going to the starter relay behind the fairing on the left side, its the multi function relay , large one guessing its the blue / white wires giving trouble, , try putting a small jumper wire from one to the other at the relay plug, , , can also turn the ignition on , the blue and white wire from the starter relay under the seat, take the 2 wires apare at the connection , use a short wire pushed into the female side of the plug and touch it onto the negative battery terminal, bike should start :good2:
I thought there was a component of the ignition system in the nose fairing that had to be plugged in to run the bike...... I know I cannot run my 92 with the nose off.

ahhhhh theyre just could be, im only talking from 84 1100 weird wire experiance, not these new fangle machines :dash2:
nothing specific in the fairing, I was running my 92 sans fairing for a few weeks while working on it. I would suspect you have dislodged a connection or "activated" a bad connection somewhere.
Thanks for all your replys :i_am_so_happy: . i will give them a try the weekend, thank u all agian
