Title: Indicator Query
Post by: eddohawk on July 10, 2012, 02:39:14 PM
Hello again

A while back I replaced a blown front indicator globe with an oem globe from my local dealer. Since then both front and rear indicators are flashing more quickly than previously and I was wondering if the flashing unit is the problem....

Thanks in anticipation.

A digital/fixed rate flasher relay will fix that.

Check the grounds for the indicators....  I had an open wire, inside the insulation and right at the connection to the socket, it was flashing fast. It was using the other filament as a path to ground, so it still flashed....
