Title: Hello From The Great White North
Post by: Chris B on August 04, 2009, 10:42:56 AM
Hi Everyone: I come to this forum hoping to get technical advise and share in the comradery of owning an FJ.  I have owned some bikes in the past...1982 Yamaha XS400 (great bike) then a 1983 Honda CBX550F (only made for one year), took a break then bought a 1983 Yamaha Seca 900 (good looking shaft drive and predessor to the FJ), finally got the FJ two years ago I miss the shaft drive of the Seca other wise it's been great!!  Hope to have fun here at your site!  Cheers

Hey Chris,

Welcome.

I always liked the 900 Seca.  Look at getting one, but landed on the FJ.  Glad I did, the FJ has greater potential and many more aftermarket/oem parts available.

Later,  Phil
