Title: 86' FJ1200 in Brisbane is a ripper.
Post by: Tron on May 25, 2012, 01:55:18 AM
Check out my 86' FJ1200 for sale in Brisbane on Ebay.
I know I'm biased but she's a pretty good example.
Not sure what she's worth that's why I figured an auction was the way to go.
I'm Waynesworld7471 on Ebay.
I'll miss her if she sells - best bike I've owned.
They're so much more than the sum of their parts aren't they.

G'day mate, thanks for the pos comments. I'm not original owner. Prev owner had her for 10yrs. Before that she was in the country that she was built in (not being ridden very much apparently).
Cheers.

She sure is a ripper. See its up to $3500. So what are you going to ride to the rally now?
I think she would be a great contender for "Best Presented"

3 days to go and has hit $5000. ---- Reserve not met! (Sounds like our bikes are better than superannuation schemes)

Visited Tassie a few years back with the wife. Most amazing/beautiful place I've ever been. Even better than South Is. NZ.
Not quite as much fun leaning into a corner in a campervan though - better try it on a bike one day eh.
Cheers, mate.

Hey Doug
Does this mean you haven't added a red &white to the collection?
Or are you just trying to through us off the scent :pardon:

Not only has Klavdy Not denied the suggestion, but I also notice Megsy is pretty quiet.  (popcorn)

She was bought by a collector in Qld but I dont think he's on this forum.
(He hadn't heard of this website when I asked him). This was the first FJ he's bought. All his other bikes were different makes.

The thought did cross my mind, but 3 1200's is enough

Finally started the getting them back in going order Saturday, lack of use is the biggest hurdle, hard dry seals in the carbies is the major drama :shout:

One has 35,000 kms, one has 58,000 kms & the best runner of all is the one with 107,000kms, its smooth as, but is seeping fuel from the link pipes
between carbies :dash2:

Just gunna be hard to kill one off for the parts, the more I look at the grey one, the more I like it :unknown:
but the red & whites are the original FJ's & will be on club rego first.
