Title: '85, FJR1300 CMC swap question
Post by: thaduke2003 on May 15, 2012, 12:18:45 AM
So I'm looking into adding a 2nd clutch spring to my '85 1100's weak ass original spring, and saw a lot of recommendations for using the FJR1300's clutch master cylinder. Besides the MC itself, what else will I need? I'm assuming a lever, but what else? Line? Found a box on eBay for not a ton of coin. Thanks! Mark W.

Hi Mark.

I have 04 fjr1300 clutch and brake mc's on my 86.Bolt straight on.The levers are adjustable.Didn't have to change the lines. If you still have the old rubber brake lines would recommend replacing them with braided lines.

Cheers :drinks:

I got mine on ebay. There are lots of companies that make em.
You might be able to get em made locally by someone like pirtek.Take your old hoses with you.
