Hello all. Can anyone tell me if an 1987 Japanese FJ1200 would differ from a North American bike? Thanks

Detuned to reduce HP, smaller intake boots, maybe other limiters....

If my '91 Japanese model is anything to go by, you will have 28mm intake manifolds between the carbs and head.....32mm for other markets.
You will have an ignition cut out device on the back of the speedo - mine operated at 180kph (the speedo only reads to 180kph also).
No side reflectors on the forks.
Reflector attached to a metal tab which is pop-riveted to the rear mudguard.
Thats all i can think of at the moment.

Cheers
