Vee Rubber brand tires?
One of my distributors says that he sells 10's of thousands of them annually and they are having a tires sale on the sport bike tire, VRM-367 Edge Tires.
Front: 120/70ZR-17 - $84.85
Rear: 180/55ZR-17 - $134.95
190/50ZR-17 - $139.95
I do not know how that compares in price to other brands or quality, but I just want to put it out there. I only have 16's so I cannot do any testing.
If there is enough interest, I might consider adding them to stock.
Let me know, Randy - RPM
Hi Randy,
I just bought a set of Bridgestone BT-023's for my FJ from www.motorcycle-superstore.com (http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com). Free shipping.
Front: 120/70 x 17 GT $111.99
Rear: 190/55 x 17 $147.99
The cost difference is close enough that I would always go with a more well know brand name.....
+1
I just got a set of BT-023 GT's for $240 shipped.
Shinkos are usually under $200 per set, but a totally unknown brand for over $200 before shipping? Nah, notsomuch.
would never never never use Shinkos. :wacko3:did once and scared the absolute crap out of me :shok:
Baldy
They're good for dragrace use :) The ones I've used have been only fair on the street. And absolutely terrifying in the wet!

Not sure what model you tried, but the Shinko Raven and Verge models are quite good.

Im not sure about the americn ones but the ones the sell in the uk are not made from rubber but from the stuff they coat frying pans with to stop eggs sticking
