It's an effort to get all riders to ride to work on the same day so people will see how many of us there are. And that we're not trouble makers, we just transport ourselves differently. And that we're having fun.
One of the reasons we're so vulnerable as riders int he US is because people are not accustomed to looking out for us. If there are a lot of us on the street people think of us and we live longer.
It's pretty easy, just remember to enjoy your bike on June 18th.
And do wheelies in front of your workplace.
I guess I'd better get a job....... Naaaaaa :gamer:

Hi all!
Has anyone heard of "Ride To Work Day?"
G'day, In Victoria, Australia, the State Government has a "Ride to Work Day" to encourage cyclists to ride to work. It's very popular in built up areas but not so out in the counrty.
From time to time some Motorcyle Loby Groups gather in Melbourne and take up all of the "Car" spaces as a protest when there is talk of a crackdown on Bikes parking on the foot paths.
Be Good.
Tony.
aerostich/riderwearhouse has been promoting it yearly for over 10 years.
