Just purchased a FJ1100, it is reasonable condition but needs a bit of work.
Went to get a clutch master and slave cylinder kit at the local dealer (between Brisbane and the Gold Coast) and :flag_of_truce:
After explaining that at least Ned Kelly had the decency to wear a mask when he robbed people I left!
Any clues on where to to get parts at a respectable price in Brisbane, Qld or Oz. Any clues appreciated.
Cheers,
Peter
Hi Peter
Welcome to the forum :good2:
I enquired as to the pricing and delivery from Randy at http://www.rpmracingca.com (http://www.rpmracingca.com) and found that prices were very competitive (especially as our dollar against the US dollar is/was so strong - not sure about the Aussie dollar) and freight was cheaper than local freight. Could be worth looking into, I never got around to doing anything about my clutch seal but when I do I'll get it from Randy.
Cheers
Matt
Hi Peter,
I'm with Matt mate, almost everything I need comes from Randy at RPM. His prices are way better than any dealer (or otherwise) here in Aust. He stocks most of the items you will ever need, and some you probably wont, but will buy anyway
His freight is normally only around 7 to 10 days too. Here in WA we are sometimes quoted 2-3 weeks ex east, so quicker to get everything from the US anyway.
Cheers
Mike
:hi: G`day Pete, always good to see another Aussie. (Sounds like ya in Klavdy Country - be afraid- very afraid!!) I`ve got a slave kit on the way from RPM (under $20+ freight). Randys chasen up the international tracking for me to confirm it`s pre Easter arrival.(Along with some other trinkets to fill the parcel - fantastic customer service always there). :good2:
I checked today and their in stock in Yamaha Brisbane for $52 less 10%. (note: she quoted well over $100 until I had her double check. Apparently a complete slave is also titled a slave kit (according to her - by phone)
More of an intro will be good, got any pics? Doug (Sunshine Coast) (popcorn)

Welcome here Peter..... you can't go wrong with the accumulated wealth of FJ knowledge on this forum.
And as already said, Randy is the man to get your parts from..... he will have parts to your door within a week 9 times out of 10, and purchase price + shipping will be cheaper than locally sourced parts.
Cheers

G'day Peter
