Sure do mate, got all their albums, saw them in the Students Union in Manchester. Fantastic drummer, very underated as a drummer and most people think of him as a singer.
Billy Cobham is another great drummer. Spectrum is just brilliant.
Kenny Aronoff - Studio performance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YPlaGbbrJE#)
Surprised no one has mentioned Neil Peart:

Great pick Dan....Neil took Rush to where they are........they were going nowhere with John Rutsy.....lets not forget Stewart Copeland or Bill Bruford.......true story...Phil was supposed to join YES...but the band decided on Bruford ...........I noticed Carl Palmer............excellent choice!!!....A time where the rock stars actually had to know how to play an instrument.... :drinks:...hey has anyone seen the the video when 18 yr old Phil Collins was singing and drumming with Flaming youth...check out "Changes" ON YOUTUBE
Sorry but i don't know how do do the links with pictures like you guys, but here's one of my favourite drummers.
Terry Bozzio Frank Zappa -Terry Bozzio's Stunning Drum solo LIVE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M782Ax4b4_0#)
oh fuck, it worked
In high school (early 90s) a buddy loaned me a record from a band called 'Brand X' called Unorthodox Behaviour that his brother had left at his house and he didn't have a record player. We could see that Phil Collins was the drummer, but had no idea what the music would be like as the album is from 1976, the same year Genesis made Trick of the Tail, which neither of us enjoyed. My ears didn't know what to think when I heard this first track. Still one of my all time favorite grooves from one of my all time favorite albums. Brand X never made anything like it again. I've probably listened to the album over 1000 times and I still occasionally catch something new:
Brand X - Nuclear Burn (1976) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo7mYqaMKXA#ws)
This is turning into the Brand X thread.
We were always into Unorthodox Behaviour, then my mates big brother in high school said listen to Moroccan Roll if you think Unorthodox Behaviour is good. Then that blew us away.
Why Should I Lend You Mine When You've Broken Your's Off Already The dick has said Why I Should...etc

One of my all time favoritre songs!!!!!!..."A Flower...........if you go down to willow farm"..........There was a band out of Quebec called "The Musical Box"......they toured around the World with a licence to play early Genesis music......They were allowed to use all the old props and costumes from the early years...amazing show....I had to wipe away the tears when they played "Cinema Show/Isle of Plenty".......I saw the "Foxtrot" "Selling England by the Pound"...and the 30th aniverssary tour of "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"...incrdeible.....it was one of the few times I was able to smoke some grass with confidence......lol.....Martin Lavac left the band to perform Phil Collins's solo career....he just blew through town a week ago.....going to see a great live band is only time I really enjoy getting high.....Pink Floyd will in Toronto this summer....and I will be somewhere near the stage....should be amazing....Ashamedly I have never seen Floyd live and I am jacked !!!!!!!!!!!
