I'm mostly done with the maintenance items, mods, etc on my '87 for now. I'm just waiting on Randy's fork fix. I put on the Conti Motion tires yesterday and the steering is much lighter and the bike is more "flickable".
I put the lower fairing back on and I think it looks pretty good. I think I'll leave it with no markings for now. Kind of a "Men in Black" feel to it.

i like the stealth look... it should cut down on the amount of tickets you recieve
bad point is that idiot cagers will think you're just another bump in the blacktop.
be safe brother!
KOokaloo!

Now would also be a good time to "smooth" out the air scoops too...

I still like
THAT... the most bad-ass lookin' FJ I've ever seen, IMO. :good2:
It just looks
right, to me.
Thanks Randy - she has her share of dings and scratches for sure! Looks a bit rougher in real life - some from me, some from the dragstrip, some from being stolen...
I normally don't like the full fairing look on FJs (or much else!) - I even prefer deleting the belly pan - but the full fairing on the satin black has the stealth bomber look to it! I think Kurt may be the only guy I know of to scuff such a good paint job to begin with and still spraybomb a better look in the end!
