Post by: Yamifj1200 on March 08, 2012, 04:58:49 PM
Our dear old friend Calvin Armistead has suffered an allergic reaction to something and is recovering at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond Va.
I thought some of you might like to know. If your interested he is in room 329  if you would like to give him a call the number is 804-323-8329.

Eric,

Thanks for the update.  Do you know what hours are good to call?

I was out riding Saturday and wound up near his place.  stopped by to shoot the shit for a minute.  He seemed 100%, but mentioned something about a rash.  Wonder if that was the start of it?  check up on him tomorrow, thanks for heads up.

Spoke to Cal eariler this evening.

These "attacks" come up on Cal pretty quick... he has an eppy pen he carries with him but sometimes it continues to get worse (throat closing up /cant breathe) and he has to go to the Dr...... he went to Dr yesterday and they game him another eppy shot that put him in some serious bad chest and right arm pain.... and in the hospital.

Good news is his heart is fine (passed stress test fine today)... bad news is all the epinephram (sp?) they gave him made his kidneys stop working right.

Dammit..... get better and get out of there Calvin!

KOokaloo!

Damn.  Was worried it was his ticker from the start.  What caused the reaction?  I've been on the receiving end of Epi.  Great stuff when it works right.

Hope he has a quick recovery.

Bloody hell Pappy, don't go getting yourself into strife like that.
You'll make all your boys sad.
