I am wondering if any one out there knows how to properly set-up the soft sided genuine yamaha saddle bags on an 1989 FJ. I believe I have all the original straps that came with the bags. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

IIRC, the mounting points are the rear passenger peg brackets and a strap around the the rear. There should be quick release connector on a short strap or bracket that bolts to the passenger peg. The rear strap goes across the rear fender below the taillight.
