Title: Left hand handlebar switch
Post by: desyboy on February 29, 2012, 08:35:07 AM
Hey Fellers,
Today I decided to pull the switch apart, looking for horn not working, I found the problem, an earthing one, fixed it and went to reassemble the switch, with the result I can't remember where some of the components go, switches, screws and some tinware, what I am asking, is there a exploded view of the switch or photo that someone may have or point me in the right direction, any help would be much appreciated, thanks, Des 1984 FJ1100 :scratch_one-s_head: :wacko2: :bye2:

Welcome to the board!    :good:

How about an intro when you get the switch reassembled?

Rktmanfj and General,
Profused apologies, for not replying earlier than this late moment in time :shout:
The pic you sent Rkt was excellent, helped me immensely, especially to get it back together, problem was, I'd been working something else on the bench and hadn't cleaned up proper b4 I started on the switch, 2 little pieces of metal that I had trimmed off another job, were the buggers that had me tossed, thanks for the pic Mate.
Doug, I live in NSW, a little town in the Central West, called Eugowra, pop of 570 and blieve it or not there are 20+ bikes in the town, only one FJ1100 tho, guess who owns it?
Most of the riders are in the over 40 bracket, myself I am 68 and just about got the FJ ready for rego, then I have 2 Suzies 2 CB900, to go, think I'll be busy fer a while, been working on the 5 of them at tha 1 time!!!!!!!!, what else has an ol bloke got to do!!
Take care Fellers and thanks for the welcome to tha FORUM

Des :hang1:
