Got the engine out of Larry's CBX last night, head stud threads stripped out in the case... and many other questionable issues.
I only wish it was so easy to get the engine out of the FJ!

advice from any CBX gurus would be appreciated :sarcastic:
Ask Randy at RPM. Amazing, amazing stuff, dunno if he'd do a cbx..
Andy York has been all into some CBX's......lots of moving parts inside those engines :wacko3:
Yea, lot's of goodies in those motors, BUT...The SOUND....ooooh my God...The SOUND of those 6 cylinders..
A most beautimus music...
Amen, the sound is like nothing else! Another aural gem was the Britten @ Laguna Seca. Sounded like a high RPM small block Chevy, with some SERIOUS grunt.. Or the Honda NR500 ...like 2 stroke w/o the ringy-dingy; 22,000 rpm exiting turn 1 @ Laguna.
Wow!! The Candy Red paint on that engine and frame, etc. is freaking AWESOME! Please remember to post a couple of pics of it when you have it all back together.

Man, sweet looking CBX. Hate to have to clean it, tho!
Did the CBX originate the idea of cooking the riders shins? Inquiring minds ...
