Title: Getting the crankshaft out. Splitting the engine case

Okay, this is nuts. I have a yamaha service manual and I am still having a great deal of difficulty splitting the case to remove the crankshaft.
I have the cylinder block off, the pistons have been removed, and I have take out all of the bolts on the outside securing the crankcase halves together. Then I pulled off the oil pan off and removed the six bolts from there, the oil pickup and housing, and the tri bolt plate that is over the clutch pilot shaft.

What am I missing?

There is 7 bolts in there, take out the oil pump and remove the last 6mm bolt from under the pump.

Its 2 am in California, I'm at work and answering from experience and memory. If that does not work triple check the manual.

But do not pry and break or distort the case.

Well, pictures are the challenge.

She old, well ridden and worn out. Motor had 120K on the ticker and when I pulled the head off, (Still not used to saying head, it's usually heads... With an S), I found two burned exhaust valves. One on two and one on four.

SO, I'm in the middle of a major overhaul. The crank is at APE getting lightened and balanced. And there is an 82mm set of pistons that are going into it....
