I was wondering if anyone had installed one of these. The idea of the spoiler caught my eye as the stock shaped winscreen dumps wind right in my faceshield. Plus the wifes been givin me crap about the 80's Devo Red windscreen I've strangely enough become attached to.
Yeppers, I had the Gustafsson extra tall +6" screen on my '84 for a couple of years. I didn't like it.
I'm 6'3" and, at speed, this screen caused buffeting at the top of my helmet. When I scrunched down a couple of inches, the buffeting would clear the top of my helmet.
If you're 6' or under, this would work for you, but alas, I was still too tall..
From the front view this tall windscreen looked goofy. If the screen had a blue tint it would be a dead ringer for Marge Simpson's hairdo....
I went back to the oem '84 windscreen, the compound curves of this screen are beautimus...
With a quiet Arai helmet, ear plugs and my head now in clear, smooth air stream it is much more comfortable.
