Title: How to put a really wide tire in the rear
Post by: FJmonkey on June 29, 2009, 09:29:11 PM
I saw this last Wed at Newcomb's Ranch, it is one way to get that supper fat tire on the rear. Twice the cost to replace the chain(s).

someone on the fjr list has put a car tire on an fjr.  it looks nothing like the tire in the above pic, it looks like a good ol' square tire.  he insists he is able to corner on it.

lol i'm not saying it cant be made to go around a corner but his definition of cornering and our definition of cornering are entirely different...... we had one of these guys try and ride with us a few sundays ago and it was stupidly funny watching him wrestle that thing around a simple bend in the road.....  doe FJR car tire guy live in texas?

I know a guy has a Warrior, he's done the same thing.... he LOVES it! Cheaper than the sticky stock tire, it lets him do burnouts for a LOT less $$$. He's not into handling.....
