Title: Rebuild of 89' forks for an 86' (Red and White Kookaloo Ambulance)
Post by: FJmonkey on November 12, 2011, 10:01:32 PM
Using Ron Ayers parts fiche I am attempting to build a list of parts to upgrade my 86' to have 89' forks and emulators (emulators and springs not listed). the forks have had a full life (thanks to Simi_Ed) so they need a full rebuild. Here are the parts that seem like they should be replaced for the rebuild. I would appreciate it if others with fork rebuild experience to correct any errors and help me stay on the path to save $$$ and to achieve proper front end Kookaloo on a budget.

:)  you DO realize his website is an e-commerce website right?  You can "Add to Cart" and order directly from it...not that I would know anything about that sort of thing...

Very cool, thanks Marsh. Shame on me for not checking with Randy first. I was thinking of getting a list of the pats first and then shopping once the list was established. Much easier to search Randy's site and find it all in a kit ready to go.
