Title: Shipping a rear suspension unit
Post by: WhiteBeard on October 19, 2011, 08:51:43 AM
Looking at shipping a rear shock overseas.
Question is; is it possible to ship internationally through postal service... is USPS the way to go?

Maybe somebody here's done it already?

The USPS can handle most overseas shipments. Easy, go to the Post Office.

USPS is a good way to go, just means you gotta go to the Post Office yourself. Works out at a decent price to.

After checking with USPS, it seems that "if it is gas filled, then it would be restricted."
Gonna check with UPS...

I think that they are more interested in volatile gases and not so much inert.  Better to clarify that it's just nitrogen and not something that goes boom when introduced to an ignition source.  :bomb:

Hope all goes well,

I had a rear shock sent to me from US via USPS.  No problem.
