hey folks, been lurking here for a few days, and figgered id better introduce myself.....
my name is joe, and i recently " fell into" a deal i couldnt pass on......1985 fj1100, with yzf rear wheel swap, stage 3 dynojet kit/pods, and a full hindle carbon can exhaust for 650!!!!...not to mention it had a new chain/cog set, and a corbin gun-fighter seat, and BRAND NEW, zero mile michelien's on it to sweeten the deal.....so,...tell me how bad i got dinged on this??......after 2 hours of fiddiling with it to get it running.....im still trying to get my eyeballs to go back to a "more rounded form" from this thing smashing them into the back of my skull!!!!! :wacko2:

ive been in the bike world for a long time, as its the day job for me(powersports technician), but its been a looong time since ive owned a bike that is this much fun to ride!!...i have a "track-spec" fzr-600 that is the play toy, and a 87 venture royale for the long trips, but this thing makes me feel like im "sneaking around and doing something immoral" whenever i ride it....lolol :nyam2:
long list of mods to come, as i just happen to have a yzf-750 as a donor for suspension parts, and brake stuff.......this winter is going to go by fast!!! :diablo:

nah, had that for years......go peek around fzrarchives.com .....been over there for years, and those guys GET INTENSE!!!....
several years ago, i came up with a way to mod ford escort coils for use on the fzr 600, as the stockers barely put out more voltage than your average 9v battery.......need to see if i can apply that to "the hammer" as i have taken to calling her......if it works out, ill post the "how-to" on here.....total cost is about 30 bux or so, and the coil i have in mind will severely shame ANY dyna, or accel coil ever made...(i was able to step up 2 main jet sizes on my fzr after this)
and so,...the sickness spreads......... :wacko2:

yeah...damn shame aint it,....actually, i accuired that one as the basis for my fzr400/yzf600 hybrid project......too damn bad i gotta pick which bike is gonna get the goodies.....eenie-meenie-miney-moe......... :dash1:
