Hi all, my 3cv 1990 FJ has had repairs by po and only has an off white under coat. I want to paint it in the white/silver of the rest of the bike (seems standard 1990) and purchase the dark blue and red stripe with the FJ on it to put it back original.
Is the part below quoted from the Partshark microfiche the correct one? I'm guessing that the SW stands for silver white, but how do I know what colour the stripes will be?
Any help would be appreciated. BTW, I spend hours checking out all the info on this site. Wish there had been something like this when I was younger. Just an awesome amount of info and so many helpful people. Only wish I could get to a rally in the States to meet some of you guys, drink some beer and dribble some shit . . . dreams are free :)

Dazza,
Both color 1990 FJ's have the same color pin striping.

Yikes
Hi there
I'm pondering a similar thing with painting the lower cowl my 90 which has the same colour scheme as yours. The sw is 'silky white' and I had having trouble getting it in oz. Went to a paint shop in Melbourne who match and make rattle cans and the closest i could get is a mitsubishi colour called starlight pearl. I painted it on the weekend and although the results look promising I wont know how good the match really is until I apply the clear coat. As for the blue and red stripes I've made up some paper templates and will be heading to some sign writers to look at colour matching and buying/cutting/making my own stripes when I get back from holidays in a couple of weeks. Will let you know how I get on.
Regards
Mark
Thanks Craigo, just the info I needed. Can't be bothered doing what Mark is planning, too many other mods to keep me busy.
