Title: Taller gearing
Post by: jonaf on May 17, 2009, 01:43:40 PM
I currently run sprocket/chainwheel = 18/39teeth but my grunty motor could use even taller gearing. Some FJR1300s use a 38t chainwheel. I wonder if this has the same bolt pattern as the FJ's?

why not go aftermarket? here in the USA JT offers the rear in sizes ranging from 38 to 49 in steel and aluminum.

Isn't the FJR 1300 shaft drive?...

Oops, did it again... I did of course mean XJR1300  :dash2: Thanks for the tip - I think it may be a good idea to place an order with JT
