Y'all have fun at the Gap.  Wish I was going.  Just got back from Oshkosh a week ago and heading out to a meeting in MA tomorrow.  Mounted up new tires last monday and changed the oil.  Should be an easy 465 miles on the FJR (knock on wood).

Carey, I'm still running the picnic bench fixed water pump.  Got parts on my workbench, but its been holding fine (another knock on wood).

My cabin has been reserved since last year and I did confirm it  a couple months back. OH Troy you are going to be right up town now with a 2 room cabin.

Jeff and I took a ride last night after dark when it was cool enough to ride. I just don't like riding down here. I'm so spoiled, riding in the mtns, you may only use the clutch 3-4 times in the whole ride across the cherohala.

Me, too... I basically don't ride locally anymore. usually just the regular couple pre-rally rides to make sure things are in order. Its all about quality, not quantity  :hi:

..yeah I think it will be nice to have a full bath & kitchen  :good2:

I will be there Thursday to Sunday with my entourage. Fresh rubber to go on in a few days. I will be riding 11 to 28 all the way up to the Dragon on Thursday and then of course finishing the day with some Cherohala and a beach burger. Sounds like a dream come true to me.  :nyam1:
Of course I will probably stumble around each morning until I find my bike and join whichever group meets my scheduling needs.  :mocking:

Jeff & I & Blue dawg will be there sometime on Sunday. In time for me to get the coffee pot set up and ready to go. Maybe even early enough for a short ride to get my mtn legs back.

we are a week out from the rally, give or take.  if you haven't called for a reservation, you better do it, they won't hold any open cabins much longer.  make sure to mention my name (dean naramore) or the fj rally when you call, as they have all the cabins saved in my name.  but any cabins that aren't taken within the next few days, they'll open up to anyone.  you've been warned!
