Title: Frank Thomas
Post by: WhiteBeard on July 25, 2011, 12:30:54 PM
While on my new gear-hunt I found this british company which seems to make some decent motorcycle clothing. Since I'm not really drawn to the A*-kind of kneeslider-inclusive gear, I liked the look of these pants http://www.poolemoto.co.uk/acatalog/FTL306%20Panther%20Jean_bk.jpg (http://www.poolemoto.co.uk/acatalog/FTL306%20Panther%20Jean_bk.jpg)
When reading the little I could find on other forums, I got a little discomforted by some comments about bad protection etc.
But as far as I can tell the pants are equipped with "CE approved Arma-Flex shock protection at knees and facility to fit hip protection",  and a price tag at around 210 bucks should at least give me some protection, right?
Any FT gear owners out there?

I have a pair of FT gloves that are nice.  Not too impressed with their clothes. seems like you can get better stuff for the money from other discount sites, Motosport, Motorcycle Discounts, etc

FT used to be the Cycle Gear house brand, but has been replaced by Bilt.
