Title: Last Minute Rally Projects?

Is it true you shouldn't take your bike apart the week before the rally?

Or should I break the rule?

Do it! You will love that shock. While it's the single most expensive mod we can do for our FJ's it's, IMHO, the most effective. You will see....

Way worth the risk!  Be sure to grease those shock mounts while you're in there.

It should be in by now  :morning1:

the reservoir fits nice on the right side frame rail under the side cover.

you will find you don,t need to adjust it after you find the sweet spot.

Well, on a smaller scale, I have six pairs of new EBC brake pads coming for my Harrison front calipers. They'll probably arrive Wednesday. I can install them and do a short test ride after work, then leave Thursday night for Kingston, on my way to the NESR. What can go wrong?   :good2:

Gawd the Penskes are a beautiful piece of craftsmanship aren't they?  Travis what weight spring did you get?  You are going to love that thing.

Hoho, that looks like a bolt in mod Travis, at least you're not using a sawzall and chop saw like me... and maybe some epoxy too.

The spring is a 900lb, the 1100's came with an 868lb so I didn't want to go too much more more than that. 900lb was the closest available option.

I guess I underestimated on how much of a difference it would make, I thought my stock shock was pretty good, was I ever wrong.

It feels like a brand new bike, even the roughest roads in the country are smooth going now......................I guess I will be able to keep up with the rally pace

without any problems this year  :mocking:
