Hello, everyone. I just created an account for the forum because I think I'm going to be needing the excellent resources here. :smile:
Currently I am rebuilding a 1984 FJ1100 that has been sitting for a long time. I just started rebuilding the carbs (my favorite part) the other day.
I look forward to making this my touring bike.
My other motorcycle is a 1980 XJ650 that I have been modifying for the past couple years.

Carbs..... they're probably the only parts on the FJ that everyone will touch sooner or later.

Your sweat equity will pay off handsomely. Stay with it, don't give up.
Just so you know, we take a special liking to folks who resurrect abandoned forlorn FJ's.
Any Bozo can buy a new bike, but not you..... You sir, go to the front of the line... :good2:
