Title: Sluggish cranking when hot
Post by: waricle on July 07, 2011, 02:36:28 AM
Stalled it when it was hot on the weekend and it wouldn't hardly crank over- had to push start.
Stopped for a break and the bike spun over really well when it had cooled.
It only seems to happen when it has warmed up I've noticed.
Any clues as to why it doesn't want to turn when it is hot?
I had to top up a litre of oil when I got home, hadn't checked or topped it up for a long time, could it be that?

Most of our bikes do this. A couple solutions are:
- Ensure the starter bolts and starter frame are clean and provide a good ground (I still need to do this to my bike)
- Crack your throttle just a little at startup.
