Won't make any difference.
Oregon requires a hands free headset and no texting while driving. Every day I see many people driving around jabbering away on their phones held up to their ear. Others holding their phones up to the steering wheel and tapping away at the keyboards while driving 70mph down the freeway.
The chances of getting caught are almost zero so no one pays any attention to the laws.
In our state it's legal unless you crash, then they throw the book at you. :scratch_one-s_head:
Exactly. So once you've been run over, at least the person who knocked you over will get a ticket. Maybe.
lol
That was the point... just a couple of days after the ban goes into effect, this texting fool drives over a median, across oncoming lanes, over the curb and lawn, into a medical supply store, and out the other side.
Now, they are going to make an example of him. :good:
It won't stop 'em all... :negative:
