Title: What Exhaust Came Stock??
Post by: McKilla Guerilla on June 09, 2011, 11:20:00 PM
I have an 85 1100. what exhaust came stock on these bikes? 2-1? 4-1? did Yamaha have their own mufflers or did they outsource?

Mine has a stainless 4-1 header with a stainless Supertrapp on it, comes out the right side. Little high if you ask me but again, idk what stock is

I suppose this could open a discussion on what exhaust your running on your bike & how you like it.

Hey Travis, I see you're already shopping for next year's exhaust!

Gotcha. So it's basically got an enormous X section into twins. Those pipes come out much lower than my single does. If mine came out that low it'd make my saddlebags feel a little more invited

It's 4 headers dumping into a single collection box with 2 outlets to the mufflers.

4 into 1 into 2 system
