Hi all,
Figured I'd introduce myself since I just learned about this from the FJ Email list hosted at micapeak.com. http://micapeak.com/mailman/listinfo/yamahafj (http://micapeak.com/mailman/listinfo/yamahafj)
Here's a bit about my intro to the FJ at the young age of 14: http://fjbill.info/first_fj_exp.htm (http://fjbill.info/first_fj_exp.htm)
I currently have an 87 FJ1200 that I have owned for about 9 years now. My dream bike is a 2006 or newer FJR1300.

... also here by reference from the FJ mailing list. '92 FJ, second owner, picked it up c. 1997 or so. Live in CT, used to ride year-around but have had a traveling job for the last decade so I don't get the chance. - bob v
