For my friends who are at the west coast rally near Hayfork, I had been looking forward to this even for many months but my wife who has been battling cancer for several years is very sick, the cancer has gotten a lot worse in the last couple of weeks and I will not be able to attend. I will be near the event as we have a summer home in Douglas City, just the next town north of Hayfork but have no way to transport Diane and bring my bike at the same time. My 92 FJ is a wonderful bike and I do not get much of a chance to ride it ( don't want to put that many miles on it) the last time I was able to ride it was in the same foothills you all are ridding in now. I keep a KTM640 up there and may take the time to ride over just to meet most of you as I have been looking forward to having other FJ riders to hook up with and go ridding. Best of luck this weekend, hope the bloody weather lets up and the roads are dry and clean.

Keep your chin up man.I know what you are dealing with, lost my mother 7 years ago and almost my dad as well. Caught his in time. I am not attending the rally either as I just got back to work. Best wishes and hope she wins
