I have this 3M headlight haze removal kit from autozone..  came with a drill bit mandrel, various coarseness of sanding pads, and rubbing polishing compounds.  It's official purpose to polish out that haze that gets on your car headlight lens.. I used it on my vstrom shield (just started at the polishing phase) and it completely cleaned up all the light scratches.. looked almost new when done.

Here is the exact thing on amazon..

Thanks all for the advice. I'll have to do some hunting, I live miles away from a city where these sort of products are easily found.

Cheers

Dazza,

That's the beauty of Amazon.  They will ship directly to you here in Australia.  They accept payment via paypal or CC.  AND they're probably cheaper and faster to get stuff here than your local dealer.

Cheers,
