Post by: chrisz29 on June 01, 2011, 04:53:12 PM
Hiya all,
My name is Chris.........and recently picked up an 85 FJ1100.............ran fine until I took it apart...lol.................but this bike was original no new parts at all............the fuel petcock leaked badly......and numerous other things......but I am in the process of rebuilding it......hopefully one day I'll ride it...lol.............40,000 miles so it was due.....................I am from Florida (yes the armpit of the 50 states)...lol.......but it's nice to be a member of a site that caters to these bikes......when I ask around town for parts or advice...I get the usual...(what the hell kinda bike is that)....lol.............but again hiya all  and glad to be here.

Some the mechanics were born after your FJ. Welcome to the club. We can help you get er' right again.

Welcome Chris.

Not much for twisty roads down your way, you may have to come north for some of the twistier roads.

Maybe to a rally?

Anyway, keep us posted on the rebuild progress.

Dan

Welcome to the group!

"they" may not know what a FJ is but we all know its style and effortless torque are timeless classics!
