I just got a FJR Clutch master cylinder, got it mounted up and bled out and it feels good. What I did notice is that the micro switch has three connector pins vs. the standard FJ 2 wires. Thought about just transfering teh micro switch but they are mounted differently. Now I did search and found mention of the three pin connector but I did not see a solution as to how to wire it up properly. I know some would say bypass the switch and ride on, but safety things protect me from myself. I'm not good with wiring so I look to the members for some insight (I know what I don't know), before I go and try something with only half a thought or solution.

The FJR switch has normally-open(NO) and normally-closed(NC) pins, use the pair that correspond to the FJ switch.... NC, IIRC. But, I don't have a wiring diagram handy, so I can't confirm.
Yea, what Rich said. The FJR has the 3 prong switch for both NO and NC
I'm not sure which 2 terminals I used on my FJR m/c. I just plugged in the 2 FJ oem wires, and with the bike in gear, turned on the key, squeezed the clutch lever and the the bike started.....cool. I guessed and I got lucky.
Going by memory I think the center prong is common and the 2 side pins 1 side is NO and the other side is NC...It's been awhile.
You could take your test light, check your oem m/c, then check the FJR m/c to see which 2 terminals act the same way.
Or you could just plug them in.....feeling lucky? Well are you....?
Thanks guys, not feeling so lucky so I think I'll take the methodical route and try the meter out. From what I can gather there isn't a chance of frying anything so there may be some luck involved, maybe.

Morning Shaun. If your looking at the switch from the right side of the bike there are three pins The one on the exteme right side, or the one closest to the front of the bike is the one you eliminate. I cut mine off flush to the inside and with some carefull alighnment of the two remaining pins I was able to use the existing stock connector. Hein

Does anyone know what year FJR parts are best to look for? I am going with the 2 clutch spring setup and thinking with these old tired hands less lever pull force required would help.
